Salt + Threads started in Cocoa Beach, Florida, after a search that went on a lot longer than we ever expected.

We kept hunting for the same kind of tee: something light enough to actually enjoy wearing in Florida heat, well-made enough to hold up, and finished with a graphic we’d genuinely want to wear. You’d think that combination would be easy to find. It wasn’t.

So we made our own.

Our tees are made with premium lightweight Airlume cotton that feels soft and breathable without feeling flimsy. They’re built for hot days, easy weekends and everyday wear — and they work just as well layered when the weather cools down.

The designs come from the world around us here on the coast: fishing, boating, night launches, surfing, old Florida, faded signs, local hangouts and the laid-back character of Cocoa Beach. We like graphics with a little old soul and shirts that feel like they already belong in your rotation.

What surprised us was how many people outside Florida were looking for the same thing — a lighter, easier-wearing tee that still felt like a quality shirt.

We think of them as locals at heart. Because coastal living isn’t always about where you live. If you love salt, you're one of us.

And because this is real life around here, there’s usually a dog somewhere in the middle of it. Ours is Sunny.
